The itinerary allows the connection between the two picturesque villages of Isnello and Gratteri, skirting the clear calcareous rocks of Pizzo Dipilo, rich in shrub formations (euphorbias) and wild blooms (daffodils, iberis) and the most interesting and famous "Inistredda" endemic plant existing, in the world, only in Isnello. Start from Isnello along the provincial road to Collesano and after about 1 km, Ponte Grande, turn right and, following a dirt road, reach the small church of Santa Maria di Gesù. Continue into the S. Maria valley along the steep road traced by the forestry company, and you reach Mount Grotta Grande from where you can enjoy the view of the picturesque and charming town of Isnello. In this area it is easy to watch the circling of the majestic eagles that fly free in the sky of these mountains. From here, proceeding in a northwesterly direction, you reach the "radio bridge" (mt 1188) and, leaving Pizzo Dipilo on the left, continue along the Mandria Piano Prato, where there is a watering hole on the right, to the Rottafonda valley. Following the path in a northerly direction, you reach the provincial road to Gibilmanna and on the left, following it for about 500 mt you reach the charming village of Gratteri, which overlooks the enchanting gulf of Termini Imerese and that of Palermo.
